The base profile, which provides a stable basis for the system, consists of an aluminum plate with a horizontal rail system used to guide the cover profiles. Each rail is equivalent to a grid height measuring 21 mm as standard. The base profile can be made in any height within this grid. For smaller systems, such as elevator signs, there is a small grid available, which is based on a grid height of 10.5 mm. The  base profile is flat on the reverse and already has holes, allowing easy fastening by screw or adhesive.

The horizontal rail system is continuous and can be customized to any width. Even though custom width dimensions are always possible, the system here is also based on a standard grid size of 52.5 mm.
